Yes, it is possible too if you arrive during our operating hours (9 am to 9 pm daily). Otherwise, we encourage you to pre-register at least 1 day before arrival at https://www.wink.sg/register.
Check-in begins daily at 3 pm to allow our housekeepers sufficient time to prepare the rooms. Early check-in before 3 pm will incur an additional charge at the current prevailing nightly rate. However, you are welcome to drop off your luggage with us starting at 9 am and return later to complete your check-in.

Wink Capsule Hostel's reception operates daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with check-in starting at 3:00 PM. For arrivals after 9:00 PM, guests are advised to press the doorbell and wait for assistance.

Yes, you can check out at any time. Just drop your key/keycard (if applicable) near the main exit/front desk before you leave.

Late check-out after 11 am is strictly not allowed. Please empty out your items in the room & locker and return the keycard (if applicable) to the reception before 11 am. You may leave your luggage at the reception, and come back later for it (before 9 pm). Otherwise, please extend your stay at the reception. We reserve the right to pack and relocate your items in the room and locker should we fail to contact you past your check-out time.
Yes, we can check any time from 3 pm onwards on your check-in day: you can check in as usual over-the-counter between 9 am and 9 pm daily.

Identification proof such as passport and identity card or driving licence is required upon check-in. We need to scan & save the first page of the identification for record purpose.
The check-in guest name must match with the name in the identification proof. Booking on behalf of others must provide with valid documentation proof or authorization.
All monetary transaction is in Singapore Dollar denomination. Any outstanding charges must be paid fully upon check-in. Without that, we have the right to withheld your travel document or deny you from checking-in to our property.
Transaction made via a credit card will incur an additional 3.5% card processing fee as required by the credit card processing company.
As of this writing, we do not require one-time security deposit during check-in (unless otherwise requested by the manager).
If a security deposit is required, it will be either via credit card verification (recommended) or cash deposit:
We may authorize your credit card to verify ownership and physical presence of the credit card to protect the cardholder, and to hold a deposit to cover incidentals and/or, in the unlikely event of damages. A verification of your credit card places the amount in a holding-state and temporarily reduces your credit card limit, but it is certainly NOT a charge. Should there be no need to convert the verified amount to a charge (in the event of incidentals, damages etc), the hold amount will be dropped off upon checkout and the credit card limit will be fully restored.
The following is the list of chargeable incidentals: a. $10 for each lost key, keycard, towel, remote-control or any small item belonging to Wink Hostel.
b. Full deposit amount for inconvenience cost (i.e. drunk, quarrel, fight, smoking, eating or drinking in room).
c. Full deposit amount for cleaning up cost (i.e.: vomiting, spitting, peeing or pooping in public area or in room).
d. Full deposit amount for damaging the properties of Wink Hostel (i.e. furniture, fixture, painting, decorations, etc). Wink Hostel reserves the rights to claim additional compensation from the guest should the cost of repair/replacement exceed the collected security deposit. A receipt can be provided for the full cost of repair/replacement upon request.
We reserve the rights to assign the guest to a similar pod or room type if the booked pod(s)/room(s) are unavailable. We reserve the rights to grant any special requests (i.e. lower/upper pod, specific pod/room, early check-in/late-check-out, etc.) based on current availability and feasibility. As this is subject to availability and suitability, hence such request can not be guaranteed.
Yes, we do allow children, but please refer to our house rules regarding Age Restrictions. Most of our facilities, including bathrooms, toilets, and kitchens, are shared. Most of the private rooms do not have attached toilets. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the conduct and safety of small children in the hostel. If you are prepared to fully supervise and ensure the safety of your child at all times, we can approve their stay. Please inform us again after booking so that we are aware of the situation.
Only one child under 4 years old is permitted to stay with parents for free in a private room. No additional cots or facilities will be provided. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.
We provide complementary luggage storage for the duration you are staying with us
Hence, on your check-in day, you can come to drop your luggage and complete your check-in process first in the morning, and come back later for the room/bed.
Similarly, on your check-out day, you can leave your luggage with us and head out, and come back later to claim your luggage.
Do note that:
a. Luggage storage is a complementary service, and we cannot be responsible for any damage or lost during our custody. Hence we advice not to leave anything valuable behind.
b. Our operating hours are from 9 am to 9 pm. Hence please do come back a bit early to claim your luggage. Any unclaimed luggage is subjected to S$10/pcs/night if it is to be left overnight.
Yes, you can keep your luggage with us before check-in and after check-out (same day only) as a complementary service.
Thereafter, should you need to extend your luggage storage, it will be chargeable at S$10/bag/night. You may order the luggage storage service at Wink Online Store. This rate also apply to non-staying guest whom wish to drop your luggage with us temporary while touring around town.
However we shall not be responsible for any damage or loss caused.
The luggage storage compartment size varies. The followings are not the exact measurement. These should be taken as an estimation only:
Wink @ Mosque Street: 50cm x 50 cm x 100cm (height x width x depth);
Wink @ McCallum Street: 30cm x 50 cm x 75cm (height x width x depth)
Wink @ Upper Cross Street : 35cm x 50 cm x 75cm (height x width x depth)
These are the amenities and supplies we offer to our guests:
✅ Bath Towel: One bath towel per guest is provided for your convenience.
✅ Toilet Roll: Ample supply of toilet rolls is available in each room.
✅ Bidet Spray: Our rooms are equipped with a bidet spray for added convenience.
✅ Hair Dryer: A hair dryer is available for your use during your stay. If it is not in the bathroom, please check with the reception staff.
✅ Body Shampoo: Complimentary body shampoo is provided.
✅ Steam Iron: A steam iron is available at the reception. Please approach the staff for use or assistance.
Please note that the following items are not provided:
❌ Slippers: Kindly bring your own slippers for added comfort.
❌ Toothbrush & Toothpaste: Please bring your personal dental hygiene items.
❌ Specialized Hair Shampoo: While body shampoo is provided, we do not offer specialized hair shampoo. Feel free to bring your preferred hair care products.

Our power socket is the British BS1363 three-pronged square pin type socket a.k.a Plug type G. Plugs from the US, Western and Eastern Europe normally will not fit. The standard voltage in Singapore is 220V/240V, 50 Hz. If you have equipment that runs on a higher voltage, you should not connect it to the power socket.
Nonetheless, you can buy from us at the reception the universal power plug (that work for most electronic devices).
We have a communal fridge, microwave, hot+cold+warm water dispenser, cutleries, cups, etc. As this is a communal living space, please be considerate after using the facilities. For example, please clean up and return the item to its original place; please label your food item with your name, room number, and expiry date.
We are a strictly non-smoking accommodation. Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the hostel premise, including the balcony and windows area.
We reserve the right to compound or evict the guest from the hostel (and no refund to be returned) should the guest refuse to abide by this strict ruling.
For smokers, you can smoke at the street level (outside of the hostel premise at street level).
