Airport City Shuttle (every hour from 7 am to 10 pm)
You may consider this option if you arrive in the daytime and you are not in a hurry.
The rate for the city shuttle is S$10 per adult (S$7 per child below 12 years of age).
The departure is every hour from 7 am to 10 pm. It takes about an hour to get from the airport to the city (where we are located).
To purchase the ticket, you can either:
proceed to the Ground Transport Concierge (GTC) which is available 24 x 7 at every arrival hall.
submit an online booking here.
Inform the driver you need to drop off at Wink @ McCallum Street (2b, McCallum Street, Singapore 069043).
The return-to-airport service is currently not available. You may take the MRT which is pretty convenient as well.
MRT (between 6 am and 11 pm)
You may consider this option if you arrive in the daytime (between 6 am and 11 pm) and require a reliable yet budget option.
You would embark from the airport Station towards Tanah Merah Station (EW4). Alight, then make a change to the East-West Line towards the city. The next 30-minute ride would be above-the-ground initially, followed by an underground ride before arriving at Tanjong Pagar Station (EW15).
Take Exit K (Fraser Tower) and walk about 3 to 5 minutes to Wink. Click here for the turn-by-turn walking direction.
Taxi (after 11 pm)
The taxi is the fastest and easiest option, and it is available 24x7. Use this option if you arrive after midnight (as there would be no other transport options available).
Once you are out of the arrival hall, follow the signboard to the taxi stand. You would see staff manning the taxi queue.
The taxi runs by the meter. Each taxi can take up to 4 passengers. The trip from the airport to the city (where our hostels are located) would normally cost less than S$50 per taxi per journey. You can pay by cash or credit card (with a surcharge).
